School Meals
The RAINBOW DELI. is open for business!!
The Greenwood Rainbow Café is back open for hot meals with a hot choice each day along with the option of a Jacket Potato or a Deli bag. These are still free for children entitled to benefits-linked free meals and for any children in EYFS or KS1. Food is hygienically made, collected from the dining room by the mid-day supervisor attached to that class and delivered to the classroom. Class tables are cleaned before the lunches arrive and after children have eaten. Children must all wash their hands before and after eating too. The MDS dispose of all the waste. Children can bring their own lunches if you prefer - plastic washable lunchboxes or disposable plastic bags are best (as fabric bags can transport germs). See our great choices below. If you want to discuss these with your child and send in a note with their choices, especially for little ones, this saves decision time in class.
Summer Term 1 2024
Remember children in Foundation 2 (Butterflies) and Key Stage One can have a FREE DINNER EVERY DAY. Please encourage them to give it a try. We have listened to our customer feedback and made some other changes too. Sandwiches and dinners can now sit together if they want! We also intend to have a special birthday table where children can sit with friends on their birthdays. Our kitchen staff are all now part of our team and become PINK Ladies too with lovely new uniforms.
