Community Matters at Greenwood
Our Community Liaison Officer (CLO) is Mrs Tracey Worthington.
Tracey has worked at Greenwood Primary School for over 20 years. Tracey is a link between home and school. She has a school mobile phone which is on between 9.00am and 4.00pm unless she is in a meeting. If Tracey doesn’t answer her phone, please leave her a message and she will contact you as soon as she can.
One of Tracey’s roles is to support families starting school. Tracey attends all our Nursery mini visits and arranges for services like speech and language therapy, school nurse and sure start to attend so they can make parents aware of how they can support them too.
Tracey is also one of our school Designated Safeguarding officers. If any parent or member of our community has a concern regarding the well being of our pupils then they can call Tracey who can advise them on the best course of action as well as following school reporting procedures. Tracey attends Social Care meetings and Joint Action Team meetings on behalf of the school and liaises with school staff to prepare reports and give feedback.
Tracey will do home visits if necessary or will meet parents and carers at school if they have a concern. Tracey has acted as mediator between parental disputes and councillor to those in crisis.
Tracey is a great listener and has bags of common sense. She gives great advice. Tracey works with us three days per week; on those days you will see her outside reception before school starts. She also does Attendance and Late Gates Reviews with Miss Tucker every half term.
If you have an issue you’d like to discuss with Tracey, give her a call on:07841203811.
